Bottle neck? Not seeing the numbers they are after? Car is broke? Shop is busy, waiting on parts? Lots of things it could be.

Tom,

I am positive that SP will hit the numbers you want, soon.

I have pushed my M3 on the dyno Dynamics back in 2008-2009. At least 5000 dyno runs. Maybe 10.000 dyno runs. So many...

On each dyno day I had 50 runs.

After all those dyno runs, I put the M3 on the road and this is where real life began.

On Dynamics I saw 997 whp thats almost 1176 on dyno jet.

Do you know what happened?

I suffered due to traction issues, cause dyno does not tell you if you have decent traction or not.

I suffered due to a poorly desinged power band. Twin 68 mm chargers spooling late @ 6800 rpm....

I sold my dyno Dynamics, as it was useless. A 1200 whp M3 does not mean that it will be fast.

Then I road tested till I hit 4,23 s 60-130 mph. I used the real road to test.

To make the story short, dont focus on dyno numbers. A 700 whp M3 with proper power band and decent traction will destroy a 1000 whp M3 easily. Its all about the power bands's overall efficiency and traction.

Dont rely/focus on dyno results. Remember there are at least 10 stage 3 & 4 HPF M3s and none of them are fast. They are what we call "dyno queens". Just numbers and no good times.

Have you seen any stage 3 & 4 M3s with sub 5 seconds 60-130 times? Nope, cause they just make the power on dyno.

Don't you worry Mert I will do some 60-130 times just for you! Also most m3 owners are not wide body like me and able to stuff 18x12 rims with 335 r888s in the back, the pro efi traction control really helps to I was impressed last year and also the nitrous will help bring the 7675 to life at lower rpms!

Just do it Tom, put the beast on the road, forget about dyno figures.

Even if you could put a set of 385 tires, there is none I am just trying to give an example, you cant have enough traction with 385 tires unless the complete vehicle has traction.

I agree Mert, last year I only went up to Iboost 3 of 5 with 80 % ethanol content which I believe was around 26-28 psi and 800whp+ and I can tell you I was frightened when I heard the pro efi traction control go off for this first time, it felt insane! I never tried Iboost 5 as the vibrations my car was making was also scary, I believe it was the 1 pc drive shaft that I had removed now but SP says there is still vibrations but not sure if as bad as before.. Are you running solid motor/tranny mounts?

New SP Project

Tom, you will not have vibration problems at high speeds because of the solid mounts, i have HPF engine+trans and Rogue diff - all solid aluminum mounts, the only vibrations which are disturbing me are at idle, at high speed almost no vibrations.

I do run stock mounts all over.

I used to have 1 piece carbon sheety meety pitty shaft, which failed 2 times.

I ended up with oem BMW shaft.

Although it failed, it did not make any vibs.

My 3 M3s do not vibrate.

What may vibrate on your beast:

- check the transmission, you may have damaged the tranny and it may vib. It may be the 1st to check.

- guibo, cheap product, test a new guibo.

- vibration damper, test a new damper.

- all pulleys, ac pulley, coolant pump pulley, steering pulley.

- flywheel, get it balanced.

Does the vibration happen at each gear between a certain rpm range_?

Have you tried driving @ 2nd gear @ 7000 rpm and is there any vibs or does it vibrate @ over a certain road speed?

Havee you checked your Wheel bearings?

Yes I know I have been in a e36 m3 with solid motor and Tranny mounts aswell as a type r integra and its mainly low rpm/idle vibrations..I knew it wasn't the motor mounts but Larry thinks it is... Now that the 1 of drive shaft has been removed I bet it's just low rpm/idle vibrations... If it still vibrates same as high speeds It may any of the things Mert has said but that's how I recieved my car back last year and definitely not how I brought I here so it has o be something that was installed or something broke from dyno runs... I am really hoping it was just the 1 pc drive shaft and the vibrations are at minimal but I won't know until I pick my car up, wish I was closer than 9 hours away from my car lol

Flights are cheap in comparison to your build cost...time for a visit on your investment before you commit to a return.

My Ride: Is very FAST
Sorry guys, I was out of town for 2 weeks, one doing training and one helping my mother. Then when I get back my cousin unexpectedly dies. Needless to say I am quite a bit behind at SP as I am the one that does all of the electronics installs and tuning. I think there are 6 cars there waiting to be tuned/dynoed and 4 more waiting for ProEFI systems. Then there are over 20 more cars on a waiting list!!

I have made a decision, If the car is not done by end of this week I will have FMU in Chicago pick the car up. I really did not want it to come down to this but I can't stand being promised/told "by the end of the week" any more. I have been more than patient and my payments have never been a issue. Hope SP finishes the beast off by the end of week but whatever happens is fine with me.

They have a bmw tech coming tomorrow as the car is throwing a bunch of vanos codes... They have till the end of Monday or Tuesday an exotic car transport company will be picking the car up and bringing it to Alpha at Inducion Performace which is another amazing pro efi tuner... I would really love for SP to pull it together last minute but what ever happens is fine with me.
