Lube Rear Window Mechanism?

My driver's side rear window has started to squeak when raising or lowering it. This occurs whether the top is up or down.
Is there any way to lube the mechanism without removing any body panels, which is beyond my skill level? If so how and what lubricant?
Thanks,
Bob

If 5 screws are beyond your skill level get a shop to look at it. All that holds on the rear interior panels are 5 screws on either side, and there are a couple great DIYs with pictures showing how to remove them.

As Emily Litella always said "Never mind".

I washed the rear window and the rubber around it and the squeak is gone. Probably pollen related.
Thanks anyway.

Had the same problem, I used silicon spray and it worked a treat.

Same here. I just cleaned the rubber strip and treated with Aerospace 303. Now and then the squeak returns; I just repeat the procedure.

If you can get your hands on the elusive gummipflege you could try that.
