Which peak code reader

It seems like there are a couple of different code readers for different model years. I have an '01 330 with a 6/2000 production date. Do I get the 1999-2000 reader or the one for 2001+?

Thanks for any assistance you can give me.

Get the pa soft. More features and cheaper.

I think you'll find the difference is where you have a connector, under the dash on the left (there's a plastic cap over the port) or in the engine compartment. See this diagram to decide.

Awesome. Thanks, looks like I just need the R5-FCX3-16, because my car doesn't have a 20-pin port.

PA Soft I found was $650 and need a pc - I only have a PowerBook.

Smile

Ebay has them for less than $50 from usa sellers. You can easily install on boot camp or vmware. With the pa soft you can read/clear and coding to your car.. Just saying!

For $650 you can buy PS Soft just about anywhere... Buy a regular laptop to run it and have about $450 left over!
