Hi,

what is wrong when there is gearbox oil in radiator?

I suspect your radiator might be at fault. As far as I know, the gearbox oil gets cooled in a separate compartment of the radiator, and possibly there is a leak between the 2? I hope the water doesn't leak through into your gearbox also.

I do hope that you have had the problem resolved by now - I haven't been around for a while so only saw this to-day.
I had a similar problem several years ago (318i, 2002) when Forsdicks conveniently "forgot" to replace a faulty oil cooler
during collision damage repair. The upshot was an oil cooler replacement, flushing of the engine and gearbox cooling systems
at a total cost of R6.800-00 in June, 2008 (Forsdicks graciously contributed R2.000-00!!) after the car stopped moving
some 15 months after the collision.
