Do i have Bluetooth?

Hey guys i'm new here and have a question

So i read that pretty much any pre 2005 model year doesn't have bluetooth unless it was added

Well i own a 2004 m3 and it came with this card

I've tried every method i could find to put it in pairing mode and i just can't seem to figure it out

I do also have BMW assist (it makes a phone call if i hit the button on the steering wheel )

If i look in the trunk i do have the gray box above the navigation unit. I haven't taken it out to look on the bottom of it though

So yeah do you guys have any idea if i have bluetooth or if there's something wrong with it?

Same boat. I'm either going to buy a newer unit from bimmernav or get a separate bluetooth unit. But first I will try to reprogram my stock TCU/ULF. Not sure what I have.

Do i have Bluetooth?

Your car only searches for a Bluetooth device for 30 secs after you switch the ignition to position 2 or starting the car. You will need to have your phones bluetooth turned on and visible before you even touch the ignition. If the car is equipped with Bluetooth it will appear as BMWXXXX (x's being the last 4 digits of your vin number) on your phone and ask for a 4 digit pass key. The passkey will be on the above mentioned card you posses. It is also on the the Bluetooth module itself in the trunk. If you have a vert the module is located along the very back of the trunk where your sub is. Pull down the carpeting on the driver side and it should be mounted there. It's kinda big. You can't miss it. As for the coupe it's located behind the driver side carpeting next to the GPS DVD drive I think.
