Business CD Deck and AC panel LED's

I really like the stock system in my 2001 330i. But I was getting tired of the amber color throughout. So I decided to make a change.

I recently switched the LED's out of my stock Business CD Deck and AC panel.

My camera washed out the display, but in real life it looks great.

Next up is the gauge cluster.

What do you think?

Thanks for the compliment.

I am working on getting the "How To" together. There is a lot of soldering involved.
If you are able to remove the deck and ac panel face plates and access the pwb (circuit board), you can remove the LED's and replace them with any color you like. Also the display's have a orange plastic cover that helps make the display orange, remove this and replace with white card stock. 30lb work best for me.

I will also being doing this to the gauge cluster.

Re: Business CD Deck and AC panel LED's

Switching the LEDs only took about an hour. Total I say this is a 2 to 3 hour job.

I will start taking pics for the How To , in the morning and over the weekend. I will look into the info for you. If I can't get it, I can send them to you if you pay the shipping(I have 1000's). The LEDs I have are an exact replacement but just blue.
