^^+1 on the track needing lubrication.

I believe a silicone based spray will work fine. Should be a yearly PM operation.

Just my .02.

If it does fail, I will do the Dorman from Advance Auto because of the lifetime warranty and the newest store around here seems to show one in stock everytime I check their online inventory. I do need to check out what's making the noise, maybe a little lube will help.
Dont know the price ranges on advance auto, but i found some fairly less expensive dorman brand regulators on amazon!

I take back what I said about Dorman.

The drivers front regulator I put in failed back in december. I just replaced it with a warranty replacement.

I think dorman is fine for the rears thats don't get used all them time but in hindsight I would go OE with the drivers window.

I just ordered front passenger and rear drivers side from ebay for 100 with motors. Theyre dorman. Lets see how it goes!

The plastic "pulley" at the bottom of the regulator is what broke on mine. It only lasted 4 months on the car. Zip tie mod doesn't help there.

The noises on my E-Bay regulator have gotten worse and the window moves slow again. Still considering the Dorman but I'm going to see what's what with the one in there this weekend for sure.

I bought a doorman with lifetime warranty , made in China but lifetime warranty is what I liked. Also quality was as good or better than oem.

Just replaced the Ebay regulator with the Dorman unit, window is quiet now. Couldn't figure out what was causing the crunching noise on the old one. Lube didn't help, the noise seemed to come from the cable sliding across the steel.
