Need legal advice.

All our cars have insurance, we own our house, and we pay taxes. We do not collect any benefits from the U.S. government. My parents use their passports as identification. You guys seriously stereotype all immigrants. My parents have been extremely successful in this country, and I assure you they don't take anything they do not deserve.

I find it very interesting that they have proper car insurance under their name since Statefarm sent me a cancellation notice the minute I had an issue with my license from not turning in my driver's class paperwork.

And just for my own curiosity, how in the world do they pay income tax if they are not working legally?

For the record, they receive benefits from the U.S. Government every single minute of the day.

Need legal advice.

My parents had licenses at one point, but were unable to renew.

They are able to pay taxes because they've received something I believe is called tax payer ID, I'm not completely sure on that. Also, my dads business of course pays taxes.

To clarify, I meant my family does not receive any financial aid/ financial benefits. I am not saying that is unjust. I completely understand we are not entitled to American rights and benefits.

I initiated this thread because I was curious as to if there was anything I could do about the described situation. I figured there was nothing to do against it from the beginning but I'd seen no harm in asking here.

Need legal advice.

2 options: 1) Move 2) Find a way to get a license..

They shouldn't be driving without licenses. They're also lucky security didn't call the police and inform them that your parents are driving illegally. Not sure of the laws in your state, but in MA get caught driving without a license and you get arrested. Also in MA you cannot have auto insurance or register vehicles without a valid license.

Re: Need legal advice.

Have you tried talking to the home owners association? Try to see if there's any more people in your community in the same situation, maybe stop paying the fees until they make an exception for your parents. Unfortunately legally I don't think there's anything you could do. Maybe find another home, or wait to see if they pass the immigration reform this year.
I would had punched that guy as soon as he said he would call the INS.
