Business CD Player -> OEM Screen Navigation Unit

I just want to use it for stereo and pretty much every function minus the navigation (maybe ipod hookup), is it just plug n play if I replace the OEM cd player with the Navigation Screen unit? i.e. will every other screen function work besides GPS?

Thank you.

It should be, shouldn't all M's be prewired for the nav unit? You may need an adapter harness im not 100% positive. If you want to buy the nav screen and stuff I have a full mk3 (tape deck) setup I'm selling check my sig.

If I can confirm that it'll work that would work out. And I'm in Seattle so we could possibly meet somewhere in the middle - I also visit portland often.

Hell ya man! I actually live in portland so either would be just fine with me. LMK, I'll see what I can find as well on it.

Here we are my friend, It looks like you will need this harness, but that's on a ZHP I can't say 100% for sure if M3's are. But This could help you in deciding.

wouldn't it be easier to go with a Dynavin setup?
