Painting the house

So we are currently in the process of painting our house. My question is: how would LSB or Atlantis Blue look in a semi gloss finish? And, how can i get the store to reciprocate these colors?

Can't tell if srs.

If you are, get some sort of sample from the dealer, maybe just a brochure which shows it. Most paint stores can scan for a close match.

That said, I can't think of anywhere that I'd put either of those colors in my house

I am serious. But why not? If you put it in eggshell or semi gloss I thing it would look good no?

Alright.. Hmm back to the color palette... Thinking and thinking some more

And just a heads up, I would want more of a flat look rather than the metallic style of the paint (if it helps).

Unless this were for a game room or somewhere else where an obnoxious color wouldn't be out of place, the color for home decorating purposes would be terrible.

What type of space are you trying to paint?

You could always get a color match and buy a sample size to see if you really like the color. Well worth the <$10 to get an idea if you want to live with the color or not.

It's a bedroom. I was just thinking about colors that have looked nice and I thought of those

Car colors wouldn't be a good source of interior color inspiration.

My wife and I moved last year and did a variety of colors. People seem to really love them when they come over. Even my guy friends make positive comments about how much they like them.

Here is a post from another thread in this subforum.

Also, as terrible as it sounds, Pintrest is a great source for looking at colors. You can put each color by name in their search function to see what chicks have posted in their homes with that color.
As much as I hate that site, it was useful for my wife getting some ideas. We also used an interior designer. Between the two, things turned out very nice.
