Alcantara Wheel re-wrap

My steering wheel is nearing the end of its life. The material is matted down, dirty, and starting to come loose on the sides. I'd really like to just get it re-wrapped but I dont know what shops do such a thing.

Anyone know of a good place that does re-wrapping? (preferably in Monmouth County NJ)

Search re-wrap and texas.. there's a shop out there that posts their work on their website and it looks completely OEM. They're about $300 a wheel, but it beats the $1200 BMW wants. Turnaround time is one business day.

I'd say pay the 370 to get an M3 tri stitch.

I regret getting an OEM alcantara steering wheel.
Already coming apart.

yeah I gotta say I like the leather better, if it costs that much to have it rewrapped I'm just gonna buy a leather one

I contacted coby1, still not sure about it though. He wants $150 for the rewrap, but I don't know about the quality or how it will hold up. Might go the Tri-Stitch M3 route eventaully, i just cant justify paying $370 for one just yet.

I did a DIY this afternoon to restore the alcantara and it turned out pretty good. You wouldn't believe the disgusting dark brown bucket of water I had when I was done. The wheel was filthy!

Just make sure you do it carefully, i pressed a little to hard in some spots and it made the fabric ball up.
