Talking M3 Video - a little weekend fun...

A buddy and I are wanting to learn video editing. Needed to footage to practice with, so we messed around with my ///M3 for an evening & came up with this...

First attempt at a car video (still video noobs), just playing around but interested in hearing your thoughts. Cheers!

Only thing I could say, would be for your opening shot, a tripod would be ideal. Was obviously a little movement, but it also dipped out of focus a hair too. Other than that, it's just going to be experimenting with shots, angles, roads, environment. All fun

DOH! ... yeah, I noticed afterwards when we were reviewing the footage. the little hinge clip on the gas cap popped out of place during one of the doughnuts, kept driving all evening without any idea. lol fun stuff!

Yeah, definitely. Good feedback. That first shot was a bit rough... too dark, no tripod, bad focus, & just sound from camera (the much better sounding exhaust rev when pulling out of my garage was captured with an iPhone mic).

Just picked up a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition. Wanting to shoot some footage with my E36 318ti M-sport M50 swap next. She'll look goofy; hatchback + ultra-wide angle. Should be fun!
