Loud clicking/squealing noise when driving..

I have a 2002 m3 and I get a clicking noise when I drive.. Sometimes will turning into a squeal/shrieking noise.. Tried to pull e brake as this happened and no difference in noise.. The click is often but the shriek happens every so often.. Clueless on what it is.. We took the wheels off and looked under the car.. Looked fine.. Also bled the brakes... The noise gets faster if im going faster.. kinda sounds like a rock is stuck in my caliper but cant find anything.. Noise remains even under braking.. Any ideas?

Looked down there and didn't see any cracks.. And I have a cabrio.. Also the clicking isn't that loud. More like tapping a can with a screw driver..

My guess is that it's your axles.

Would my axle screech like that tho? Wouldn't it me more of a grind?

One of my axles on my car has a tiny hole in the CV boot and it was slowly leaking grease out. It would squeal/squeak after being driven on for more than about 15 minutes or so. I would just start there. You say that it's rotational, and the clicking symptom is synonymous with axles.

Is there a way to test for bad axles?

Take a look back there and see if your CV boot is torn. I'm sure you would have noticed an excessive amount of grease everywhere, but yours might not be leaking that much. It should be black or even slightly green.

Rear Shock Mounts? Noise was light then got much louder, it was so annoying. Replaced them with RE mounts and noise was gone.
