Make sure that they tape of the hub area when they do the powder coat. **** was so thick on my wheels they fit tight as hell it's a bitch to get them off the car.

Make sure they clean the bolt seats of any powder coat. I had the dealer redo my wheels and they didn't bother. I had my wheel bolts loosen repeatedly until I figured out that they hadn't bothered.

Clay bar and wax... Couldn't believe how smooth and soft the paint felt afterwards! I've clay barred before, but never an older vehicle its always been with a newer car so I could never really appreciate the difference it makes.

best feeling ever in my opinion haha. I'm always suprised at how well that little piece of clay works (and a nice wax as well of course).

Had wheels refinished and repainted gun metal/ red calipers

Really happy with the results, still have to repaint some parts in a week.

Changed the fluid in my MT, and gave her a good wash.

I washed, clay bar, and waxed my car today too. This was the first time using the clay bar. I was comparing my 325ci to a friend 2011 Jeep and theirs was very smooth to be a 2yr old car. Mine on the other hand was not too bad. I'm guessing the previous owner kept her detailed... The most dirt I got off was on the roof of the car. Everything else was minimal. So after I clayed I used Mequire's Quick wax.
