TWD - Alpina C2 2.7 - Stage 2 Paint Correction

Car: 1985 Alpina C2 2.7

Service: Stage 2 Paint Correction

Comments:
- Very rare car with barely contaminated paintwork
- Medium to heavy swirling around entire car
- Some deep scratches and imperfections had to be wet sanded out (roof & bonnet)
- Gloss & depth restored to this otherwise immaculate paintwork
- Owner was very impressed with the finish - ready for concours!

Great work!
Just a quick question mr.TWD

After you work your magic on a car - and the owner looks after it (garaged) - how long can the results be maintained?

My Ride: All sorts of cars
Thanks guys!

KOpower - Well it really does depend. How often is the car used & subject to the elements? Where is it stored? How is washed? etc etc...

Eg.

One of my cars is barely used. It hadn't been polished in 3 years. But swirls & marks do appear over time. It's inevitable. What matters is the severity of them.

Other cars I've seen that have been garaged all their life are completely ruined due to poor washing/drying technique & the wrong products being used or a lack of protection.

The protection applied to this car will last around 6-8 months (given its use). You could possibly extend its life by adding a spray wax each time it's washed.

But it really does depend on certain factors. In a nut shell - how particular you are and how often the car is used really.
