Intermittent GM5 module?

Reference this thread I made about intermittent lights flashing when locking/unlocking: http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=991820

I think these issues point to the GM5 module. Here are the intermittent symptoms: No key in ignition warning; no interior lights come on when a door is opened; no door ajar indication on the cluster when car is on and door(s) are open; warning lights do not flash when locking/unlocking door via remote (the car is programmed to flash, but no alarm is installed).

GM5? What say you?

Intermittent GM5 module?

Gm5 controls door locks and wipers.
All those dash lights I'm pretty sure are their own system that report to the gauge pod and ecu.
