It's a .GIF image. Honestly I don't know 100% how you'd go about setting one as your signature. I'll look into it

Hey my signature just will not work. I had one set at some point and than it was gone. I re did it following all of your instructions word for word and I still can't get it to work. I even used photobucket and resized it to a proper size. Like a height of 500 pixels. Any ideas what may be causing it not to show up?

I actually disagree. I love the signatures. Like stated above, it would just be like a bulletin board without them. I like seeing other peoples cars, and I mostly use signatures to recognize other members. Im more of a visual person so I recognize pictures of members' cars rather than their actual username itself.
James, I agree with you on a couple of points: i.e. you're "more of a visual person". Of course, we all are. We all recognize a picture more quickly and easily than we do a text name.

In the case of this website, the owners' decision to not allow avatars for non-paying members unfortunately ends up with "signature pollution"...where non-subscribers FILL what should be MESSAGE space with VANITY shots of their rides.

My suggestion is that avatars SHOULD be allowed for "registered" members, and that the large "look-at-my-cool-car" shots that are used for signatures should be restricted to Albums only. That way, everybody's happy. YOU get to recognize a message poster by his graphic avatar......but WE don't have to wade through miles/acres of picture-sigs clogging up the space where meaningful, textual, TYPED information should be located.

Just my $0.02
