RNS is just the name of the group who ripped the album. It's not a file format. It's probably in a TAR if I had to guess.

Um, RNS is a release group. Usually if you're getting their stuff off IRC its in a rar archive. So just unrar it. Same for tar.

.rns files CANNOT be converted into any other formats, you need to export the audio of the Reason session into a .wav file.
1) Open the Reason session
2) Click on the File tab in the top left
3) Select "Export song as audio file" (or something like that)
4) A box should pop up asking you what sample rates and if you want to dither - just hit Enter

Reason will then export the audio from the track into a .wav file, the only export option in Reason.
You can burn these tracks to a CD but they can be rather large. I would recommend converting the .wav files into mp3, using a free audio file format converter, to save space and ensure compatabilty with most audio players. If you have any trouble, I think you can message me through this site and I will walk you through it in more detail.
