My Ride: AA HKS Boosted M3
FS: Active Autowerke Gen 6 level 1.5 HKS Supercharger Kit and headers
For sale is my Active Autowerke Gen 6 Level 1.5 HKS Supercharger Kit. I love this kit but it has come time to switch things up to another set up. I purchased this kit brand new and has 8k miles on it. I put down 422 whp and 310 wtq on a Dyno Dynamics on 91 craptane with headers. This kit will see better numbers if on 93 octane as I've seen anywhere from 430-450 whp with this same kit with other members here.
Here is my build thread when I first purchased this kit My Build thread
This kit is the "upgraded" Gen 6 level 1.5 that has the same size intercooler as the level 2. This kit can be easily upgraded to a level 2 by contacting AA. Here are the specs of a Gen 7 level 1 kit from AA's site:
Retail Price for Level 1 $7995.00
Power : 510 BHP @ 7650 rpm
Torque : 365 ft/lbs @ 5400 rpm
Boost Level : 9-10 psi
HKS GTS8550 Supercharger
Active Autowerke Generation 6 Intake Manifold w/ Dual By Pass Valve
Front Mount Air to Air Intercooler
Turbo like speed with linear power delivery
Large Fuel Injectors
Supercharger Oil Cooler
Colder Heat Range Spark Plugs
High Performance AA Spec Green Filter
Active Autowerke High Performance Software
All Mounting Hardware, plumbing, hoses and clamps
Proven Horsepower gains even under extreme conditions

The only difference from the Gen 6 to Gen 7 is the manifold. I had the manifold wrapped in real 1x1 carbon fiber along with a clear coat. The intercooler has been anodized black to have a more concealed look. This will be a COMPLETE kit, everything you need to install if you're a 6MT. SMG cars will only need to get a SMG reservoir bracket. I'm including the HKS traction fluid for the supercharger and the pictured HKS SSQV blow off valve. The only things you will need are new NGK Iridium spark plugs, the recommended new fuel filter, and a tune.
For the tune, you can either call AA and get a tune based on what mods your M3 has (headers or no headers/ desired octane) which should run around $500 or so. You can also use a local tuner close to you who can tune supercharged M3's or even one of the sponsors here, Evolve. This kit is currently on my M3 but will be coming off this weekend.
If you are local to the Bay Area, I can include a FREE AA canned tune for a 91 octane, 6MT, headers, with shift light. I have this canned tune on my laptop along with a data cable. I can upload this tune on your M3 in a few minutes. This kit is currently on my M3 but will be coming off this weekend.
I am also taking off my car a set of my M3AN ONE V2 stainless headers. This is the last set of my version 2 headers which have thin flanges and ZERO clearance issues. These were on my car for around 1K miles at the most. I can have these ceramic coated if the buyer wants for an extra $260.
Any questions feel free to ask.
