My Recaro Pole Positions Dont Fit On The Lowest Setting

I posted this in the tuning & tech forum but figure it will get more views here.

I just picked up a set of RPP and noticed they sit noticeably higher than my stock M3 seats. When I went to lower them I noticed it wouldnt let me as the one hole in the side of the seat's rubber piece had to be wedged between the mounts. Anyone else experience this? The mounts are Recaro for RPPs so I dont know what gives.

I had that issue with an old bucket seat in my old car, I just tightened it down as much as it would safely go, I didn't have any issues with it. maybe shoot recaro an email and see whats up?
