Guibo Guide (Flex Disc): Non-M, M3, & F/I

The Guibo Guide (Flex Disc).
So you need a new Guibo, because your old one is shot or you destroyed yours with more WHP, this guide will help you make the best choice for your application.

Non-M, if you drive a stock or lightly modded N/A Bimmer on the street or for track days, your best choice is number one (1).
Non-M, if you drive a F/I Bimmer, give great consideration to upgrading to a M3 Guibo, choice number two (2).
Non-M, if you drive a F/I Bimmer & occasionally drag race it at the track, give great consideration to upgrading to a Solid Guibo; choice number three (3).

M3, if you drive a stock or lightly modded N/A Bimmer on the street or for track days, your best choice is number two (2).
M3, if you drive a F/I Bimmer on the street or for track days, you could use either choice number two (2), or upgrade to choice number three (3).
M3, if you drive a F/I Bimmer & occasionally drag race it at the track, give great consideration to upgrading to a Solid Guibo; choice number three (3).

My Ride: 2005 M3 Coupe
I think M3 guibo would be appropriate for 330s. E36 M3 gets the M3 Guibo, and it has almost identical power characteristics to the 330, specifically the ZHP

OK.

I certainly have no problem with that in anyway. But if I had a 330Ci/i with a 100K mile Guibo on it, and were driving it normally with N/A mods, I'd still buy a stock OE guibo; because I'd expect to see another 100K miles out of it.

But if I were being rough on the car, it's upgrade time.

What purpose does the guibo actually serve? Just a vibration dampener? I would consider the solid one on my 325ci to get rid of a maintenance/wear item.
