Radio Pocket Question :)

Hi Guys, New too the forum and new too the Bmw Scene

My car has a double Din unit installed, but i want too take it out and put a single din unit in it, but i don't want to buy the Different AC Relocation unit and the oddments pocket too return it to the single din state,

What i'm wondering is, if any companies make a Double din Fascia that will fit a Single din head unit, so i can install a single din unit but not have a gaping hole underneath the HU

Thanks guys! and look forward to contributing to the forums

Re: Radio Pocket Question :)

I've seen some cars that come with a double din sized stock radio (most late 90s to eary 00's Chryslers, old ford Taurus) that have had a single din installed with a storage compartment under or above it in the adapter. Not sure if they make something like that for an e46 but you might be able to make something.

Something like that, but without the gauges would be perfect!

i'd love to do something custom, but i have a feeling it would come out real dodgey
