Marcus... Beautiful car man! Nice! I'm not feeling the hooks either... I mean... I like the look. Just not those. Maybe something beefier. Not the nylon ones.

I am mounting an Mtech II bumper today. I have already spent 4 hours in the yard sweating my ass off... So now I am in the garage sweating the rest off. Coming in for breaks every now and then.

Finished replacing the CCV, over 4 days, spending about 2 hrs per day, not including taking some time out to make a short video on checking the state of your DISA:

I'll add picks and my pointers to one of the specific threads, but what I will say is remove the DISA and ICV, it just makes accessing the throttle body and CCV a lot easier and you can clean out the ICV and check on the condition of the DISA.

Feels good to get that DIY done! Next up valve cover gasket, but I need to read up on DIYing the Vanos seals first.

Wow... I just got the bumper assembly off... That little old lady I hit (tapped actually) a few weeks back bent my aluminum bumper frame just a little bit on the driver's side! After 20 minutes stretching it back into shape with my shop vise and it fits like a glove!

I sure wish I had my foglights Umnitza!

Nice! Post pics of your swap or some tips if you don't mind. I plan on tackling that at some point.

I put them in a few years back (after plasti-dipping them), my brother got me one from a wrecked e39, so I had two laying around. They are beginning to bore me as well, but they were basically free. Those TMS straps are cool, the black would look really nice. But $200 is nuts!

I may just pull them out and pop the covers back in. I'm thinking about pulling the roof rack off for the rest of the summer too. I like to keep changing it up.

Imola, beautiful car....

Washed my car like I said I would. Also vacuumed the entire interior, cleaned my wheels, covered up some curb rash and shined my tires

Got some Vacum hose today, the old hose was like old candy! Car is now mostly back together ready for A/C re-gas.

Looks great! Solidjake, it's nice to see your car in your sig at one of my favorite spots in Socal, Point Mugu on Pacific Coast Highway.
Here is a photo of my E28 parked there last year .

Thanks! That road is beautiful, completely different from the east coast.

Did a lot of work on the E36 M3 I'm driving while my car rests. Got rid of a ton of codes. Car is running much better and smoother. Amazing what cleaning the ICV can do for the idle after nearly 200k miles. Oxygen sensors also replaced, both throttle bodies cleaned. Outside door handle replaced (Never want to do that job again in my life)
