Anyone invest in old paper money?

I think it was a sheet of 20, 1 dollar bills. It would have been significantly more if they had sold them at a coin shop. Perhaps 50 to 100 bucks.
The place I for my official uncut sheets for sells them for $1.25 on the dollar. So a 25% premium.

Anyone invest in old paper money?

FYI I don't consider old coins as investments. They are numismatics. In my line of work I've come across everything. I probably accrued 500 pieces of silver coins this year alone.

This is just a 3 months of silver coins that I've caught. And FYI "the penny arcade" coin counter at td bank spits out all the silver coin. Also for your consideration. I put thousands of coins through that machine weekly, so my results might be much different than others. About 3 years ago I traded a crackhead a pack of new ports for about 10 Morgan's. 5 of which were Carson cities. 2 of which that got graded at ms64. I need to spend more time behind the register lol

Lol, to be honest, I wasn't until a couple weeks ago.

All the currency I have is my dads collection. He's not a collector, but he traded two guitars for the whole collection (pawn shop life). And now I've gotten into it. I just bought an unsearched roll of wheat pennies on eBay. The coin that was showing was a 1909 VDB penny, if it turns out to be a 1909-S VDB penny it'll be worth around $700+

You guys know you can buy uncut sheets straight from the U.S. Bureau of Printing and Engraving online, right? http://www.moneyfactorystore.gov/uncutcurrency.aspx

Some of it is like 300% face value though, lol.

Got these at work yesterday

All silver
The 1963 Franklin (bottom middle) is semi-proof; the standing and walking liberties have worn off dates, and 3 of the dimes had errors!

I just bought a lot of 10 wheat penny rolls on eBay for $60, so far I've looked through 3 rolls, found 3 Indian head pennies, 7-8 error coins, 3 steel pennies, 3-4 AU pennies, total value after the first 3 rolls not counting the errors is just above $120
