is it a bad idea to swap out interior?

I currently own a 2002 silver with dove grey.
Found for sale a complete vert interior in color red for sale.

Cost is steep in my mind around $2000 but complete interior.
Seats, panels and everything else needed to make it complete.

I am new to the M3 world and thought I would ask the experts like you all
for your opinion.

Does that seem like it is expensive or is that in the ballpark for cost?

Have to figure it might cost another $500 to have someone swap out mine
and put in the Red one.

From what I read it might be tough to sell my dove grey for anything to speak of.

Does it include the carpet and dash? If not that's a lot of money to still be stuck with the ugliest parts if the dove interior.

I would say it depends on what shape the interior is in and how much you want to swap you interior. It's worth how ever much you want to pay. I wouldn't pay that much, but I love my dove interior.
