Love to see it line up with a stock E46 M at the track after the LSD goes in...a bit lower on the dyno numbers, but probably a good 400 lbs lighter

I like reading this thread to get ideas for the 128i with n52

Currently at or just above e90 330i power after manifold & tune ( ~255+ crank hp) aiming for much higher through tune optimization and maybe even headers

A friend of mine has an m but it's not stock. He's got headers/exhaust/intake/bimmerworld epic tune. Before he got the tune we were neck and neck. After, he slowly pulls in 4th gear. I need to race him now that I have the cams and lightweight flywheel. Should be interesting .

Thanks! The n52 has potential. I know the e90 330's in Europe produce 275hp from the factory. Headers would definitely help. Unfortunately there isn't much aftermarket support for the n52 since everyone's caught up on the n54. Every time I see an n54 Dyno I want to . Pathetic how much power drops after 5k..the head flows like sh!t.

Btw everyone..the Dyno is on hold for now. For some reason I have timing off in one cylinder (cylinder 3). I need to first figure out why before I spend money on a Dyno since I'll be using it for tuning. I want everything to run perfect.

Can you give me more details to understand how ur 330i kept up with a e46 m3?
Do you know your approximate whp or hp at that time and on which dyno?
Want to know approximately what it would take, to see how the 128i matches

And yes the n52 needs some attention Its mostly software tuning. Headers is another story.

To be honest I like to keep the 330 vs m3 debate at a minimum because of how heated it usually gets. Most of it is due to weight. I'm about 375lbs lighter than a stock 330. If I'm not mistaken the m3 is over 100lbs heavier than a 330.

Nevertheless an m3 is still an m3 no question about that.
