Question

Does anybody have any pics of the engine bay, with these headers fitted with OEM gaskets..??
How close to the chassis and to the gaskets do they come..??

Thanks man!

I already have new oem gaskets and i don't want to cut them.. I prefer oem gaskets compared to the ones that come with aftermarket headers..

tried to take some good pics. there is atleast a finger width between the headers and heatsheild. With the heatsheilds going upwards and the headers down there is more room than you think

Very nice.. Thank you for the pics mate..
What about the distance between the headers and the chassis?

If you could get some under side pics would be nice also.. thanks..
I meant a pic from top showing the valve cover and the chassis left side.. like those that you took just bigger angle, not to close..
Really thank you my friend!!

Sorry for the delay I was hoping for more information following this response I received about a week ago - "We are still working on this. I will have to hit up Jerry and see what the plans and route we are taking with this."

So really no news - In a holding pattern I suppose

Just ordered me a set.
I don't expect much power gains but it was the missing piece on my setup.
I plan on using LC-1 for the CEL issue.
thanks for the discount!

I would think with a supercharger your gains would be in the 12 to 14 whp range. Stock manifolds are ultra restrictive for F/I, these will be a very nice power adder.

Yeah but for some reason last time I installed headers, the car felt like it lost a lot of low RPM torque.
Car is tuned for headers, cams and higher boost so it should be fine now!

I think you'll be happy with them and the gains that go along...especially with your ESS TS2!

or you can just remap your DME with the Euro EU2 catless map from BMW... no more check engine, no more post cat O2 sensors.....

I had done that before with myvESS tune and the car cannot pass emissions in GA due to too many incomplete checks.

Re: Group Buy: BimmerBrakes GEN3 M54B25/30 Headers

I had forgotten how much I hated DIY'ing headers but I did my install yesterday. I kept telling myself 'no pain, no gain'...
These headers are truly a piece of art with excellent fitment.
My one tip for anyone doing this is to install the short headers first as this gives you the room you need to get to all nuts.
Do the long headers (closest to the front) last. I used my oem gaskets with the heat shields removed.
I removed the passenger side engine mount as well.
I still need to wire my LC1 but the heavy lifting is done.

Those look real nice tucked in there. Good to hear about the fitment. Are there any discount codes left for these?

+1 on vids.

I'll record video on first startup but I have a TSe3 full catback exhaust so it won't be pleasant. I'm trying to determine what muffler to get.
