Downloads for Dynavin

Wanted to start a thread that will hopefully help anyone with a Dynavin. This thread is for links to anything involving updates, add-ons, navigation programs or anything that can be downloaded for Dynavin use. Sort of a table of contents for Dynavin downloads. Now with that said, lets keep questions on how to do stuff in other threads because we dont need another how to thread to keep up with. If you have a link for a download of some sort to add please post it and tell what it is for. Maybe this will save people from searching through tons of info.

I will get it started with links for the Primo download and US maps provided by Darkoz in another thread, a must have.

NAVIGATION LINKS

IGO Primo, Download Darkoz.zip from FileFactory.com
http://www.filefactory.com/file/b460398/n/Darkoz.zip

Navteq 2009 US maps, Download Darkoz-US-maps.zip from FileFactory.com
http://www.filefactory.com/file/b463...oz-US-maps.zip

UPDATES

Firmware update for V5
http://dynavin.freeforums.org/dynavi...8f52b32ccbc02e

ADD-ONS

Petruts WinCE Desktop patch < yes this one costs money
http://www.flydigital.ro/wince/productdetail-6-.htm

And his (pertrut) page on how to etc.
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=794137

Thats all I can think of right now.
Lets see some more links and I will add them to the list.

More useful GPS links:

http://fixmygps.net/forum/index.php

http://www.mobilepassion.org/viewforum.php?f=566

http://gpsunderground.com/forum/forum.php

Some my require signing up, but its just basic info registration.

This link is for PocketPC freeware. I have yet to hear of anyone installing additional software on the windows side. I intended to try installing stuff onto the Dynavin , but havent had time to fool with it yet.

http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php

One thing I REALLY want is a good website link for a weather radar and roadmap overlay. The ultimate would be Google maps with a radar overlay.

Note that this is the correct link for all Dynavin units except the very latest V5 models, which run Windows CE 6.

If you have a V5, you can check whether yours is CE 5 or CE 6 by going to the System Information menu option on the Navigation menu (the same menu that you use to set the location of your SatNav software, calibrate screen, etc)

If you have a WinCE 6 unit, you need the WinCE 6 patch page

This was confirmed by petrut in his thread here, and I have successfully installed the WinCE 6 patch on my own V5 DVN.

Thank you for the links to Primo and Maps but can you include some directions to install them? I don't want to mess anything up doing this.

It's very simple. Take your micro SD from the car and put it in your computer. Copy all of the files off of the sd car into a backup folder on your computer. Download the Primo files and extract them. Place these files on your sd card. Next download the maps. Unzip the maps into the "content/maps" folder. Place your sd card back in your unit and "tada", you have a new gps system.

I've tried numerous times recently to upload Primo 1.2 but it either gets deleted by the file hosting site, either that or the upload hangs and never finshes.
So unfortunately at this stage I've pretty much had it trying any more.
However, there is still a torrent downlaod for Primo 1.2 here...........

Once the files are downloaded and extracted off the internet. Does the Dynavin recognize them from the folders placed on the micro SD card? Also, is there a difference between the operating IGO system and the maps or do they all come in one package?
