XDrive transfer case in e46???

I have been doing some research on the XDrive ATC-300 transfer case found on e90 and a few other cars. I think it is a straight fit for the e46 owners. Just do your research and compare the NV124 with the ATC-300 and you will see. Im still doing research on the electronics but if this is possible the e46/16 will be the next most wanted car!!!!!!! If someone can provide some specs like bolt distance, flange specs that eill be great. I dont have a ATC-300 but if someone provide this tc im willing to pull my transfer case for measuring. Cheers!!

I have a TC with a cracked case you can have for the price of shipping.

Difficult part is mapping the signal put out by the e90 to the TC. And then replicating that signal from the e46.

Isn't there also a computer for the XDrive system that would have to somehow get installed in the car and interface with the DSC system or is this something the E46 computer can handle?

XDrive transfer case in e46???

Thats why im still doing research. If you look into the xdrive diagram. It has a module just for the transfer case and all the inputs are pulled from CAN-bus.

Can you send or post pics of the tc. Also how much the shipping will be to NC.

If you could make the electronics happy, what benefit would be derived fron using that transfer case over the e46 one?

i love my e90xdrive! i can definitely see why you guys would want this! with the prices of the e90 coming down, why not sell the e46 and pick up a slightly used e90 like i did?

^ and because I'm already sick of maintaining my E46. I'd imagine the E90 is the same or worse.
