Xi firm ride vs old suspension

My xi's suspension is definitely old and since its not bad by any means and ill be getting another 3er next year I have no interest in replacing it, I'm just wondering how firm is your xi's ride compared to your other e46, x3, or non BMW vehicle? I'm from Florida so I'm spoiled in terms of smooth roads but now I live in Georgia and man are the roads rough. Anyhow, I was driving down 75 south and the feedback I was getting caused me to think I had a slightly bent rim or something but then I hit a patch of smooth road and then nothing. Does your xi find every fault in a road?

Yes. Bad roads you will feel. Good roads you appreciate.

Road feel is critical for good handling. Depending on mileage, consider new shocks/struts and get your springs inspected. Possible they are broken due to rust, but highly unlikely given where it has been driven. Also inspect the FCABs and sway bar links for wear.
