My baby got all beat up

So the worst possible thing that could happen to a car owner happened to me the other night. I was out with a buddy of mine having dinner with two lovely ladies we had met at the lake the previous weekend. I was at a restaurant I go to at least 1-2 times a week. I took my date out for a ride, she bugged me to take her for a ride in the ///M (we all know ladies love a clean BMW), came back and continued my dinner. About an hour after we got back the owner of the restaurant who knows my car came up to me and asked if I drove the BMW tonight, I told him that I did and he suggested I go outside. Upon sprinting outside and pushing people out of my way I came to find that someone had back into my car and crushed in the hood and fender. Like any good *******, the driver decided to leave without saying anything, leaving my baby broken and mangled. Luckily several people saw the man speed off in his company truck, I am currently working to get it solved through insurance. I am very pissed off about the situation, but no one got hurt so I must be grateful for that. I will be looking to soon field out some replacement parts. Now for the pics of the damage...

Can't believe someone could just drive off after that. I probably wouldn't be able to move if I did that to someone's (nice) car. Some people should just be hanged on the spot...

There were a few people who did see the company truck speed off, so I'm in the process of getting quotes and going through insurance with the company owner.

Had he been there, I probably would have gone to jail, my buddies date made a remark that I was awfully calm for the situation, simply told her it was only cause I had just met them and I didn't want to go crazy on our first date.

Yes, one would think you would have the common courtesy to stop, but instead he spun tires leaving the parking lot, that combined with the crunch of my car is what alarmed the people outside when he hit my car.

Yes, working to catch him, the owner of the company is giving me the run around right now, but before this is all over his insurance will pay for damages and that man will be fired.

Glad you found the company and the driver. I would have said just wait for the idiot to come back to the joint and catch him that way.

Sorry about your beauty dude, I'd say that isn't close to being totaled so you got lucky.

Re: My baby got all beat up

Ouch! That hurt my eyes. My brother had a similar incident happen, where he had his 650 parked at the bmw dealership and the ups driver didnt see his car and scrapped the entire passenger side, pulling the front wheel so hard the entire front suspension/steering rack and pinion would need replacement. It was considered a total loss by his insurance.
