Love this mix.

1lb of ground chicken
1.25lbs of ground beef 85/15
4 cups white rice (brown tastes like ass and I don't think makes much of a difference anyway)
can of corn
can of black beans
2 packets of taco seasoning

I brown the meat, add water and seasoning, cook rice, open cans and mix up.

I should get about 6 Meals out of this. Not sure the macros but I think it's a decent amount

Consider switching your pre workout and post workout shakes around. A banana or 2 after a workout is suppose to spike insulin levels from the sugars and somehow help promote muscle growth. I haven't done any thorough research on the legitimacy of the claim, but it's food for thought...

I thought getting carbs before and after working out is good to help with energy during workouts and to stimulate muscle growth post workout. My post workout carb was the watermelon. It's all simple sugar.

I wouldn't use fruit (fructose) as an effective means to spike insulin post workout unless you are eating a fk ton of it. The 0% yogurt should have a healthy amount of sugar, but something like juice or chocolate milk etc is the best IMO

That's accurate. Sounds pretty good, personally i prefer lots of complex carbs post workout, but to each their own.

I halfway put that up to try to share some new info with you and half to hear what people had to say on the insulin sore theory and genie good bananas are for that.

fried rice recipe? Always looking for better rice

And guys, give me some ideas for this week for food.

Looking at making lots of something to hold me over.

Possibly a pulled pork, bunch of sweet potatoes, asparagus etc.

http://chinesefood.about.com/od/rice...edricechix.htm

super simple, I brined and BBQ'd my chicken instead of frying it.

Make sure you use plenty of oil when frying rice (best to use leftover rice) since it absorbs it and will burn.

This one I promise anyone would find delicious The ex got mad at me when I was scooping it for my lunch because she was worried I'd take it all.

Lately I've been eating the following and keeping it simple:

Taco Beef + Jasmine Rice
BBQ Steak + Diced Yellow Potato
BBQ Chicken + Basmati Rice
BBQ Salmon Filet + Basmati Rice

I also add a salad made from:

Kale / Spinach / Red Cabbage / Cucumber / Red, Orange, Yellow Pepper / Tomatos / Avocado / Feta / Pecans / Mushrooms / Raisins / Sliced Orange

If you want an amazing slow cooker pulled pork recipe, scroll down a couple pics here:
