Red face Car Shudders @ Specific RPM Range in 1st and 2nd

Year: 2002
Model: 330i
Transmission: Steptronic

When I accelerate at roughly 50% throttle the entire car shudders in 1st gear @ 2,500-2,700 RPMs and again in 2nd gear @ 2,800-3,000 RPMs.

It feels like it might be coming from the front of the car... but I can feel my center console armrest shake a bit too.

It doesn't happen under slower acceleration and I don't believe it happens at WOT.

What could be the problem? I tried searching around but there didn't seem to be anything consistent.

It's because you touch yourself.

Have you checked the guibo and CSB?

The flex disk is ~$60 and the center support bearing is about $30. Fairly simple DIY, but it shouldn't cost much for a shop to do it. Not saying it's definitely one of those items, they're just the most probable cause. Personally I'd swing by a shop and have them run it on a lift. Should be pretty easy to spot what's causing the issue.

Thanks for the advice.

Coincidentally enough, I am going to a shop this Friday to have rotors, pads, braided brake lines installed along with a brake flush. I also bought an IKON muffler to replace my current setup because my wife has complained it's too loud and won't drive with me

I might as well have them take a look at it and I'll just suck up the cost. I don't have time anymore for all these DIYs.

I took my car to have some brake work done and my window regulator replaced. I had them look into the shudder issue. Appears to be the driveshaft. So I'll be looking to replace that shortly.

I'm thinking of ordering one from Turner Motorsports (link)
