Cramping/Muscle Tightness Issue

Anyone have any thoughts on what I might be able to take for muscle tightness and cramping that I've recently been experiencing while running.

I've had issues in the past with cramps and have always tried to keep my potassium up as a result, starting this past week though my lower back and legs have been tightening up while running. I stretch extensively both before and after running and I am well hydrated as I drink over a gallon of water a day since I started taking creatine and protein.

Any thoughts, could I possibly need more water, I am pissing every hour as it is?

How far into the run do the cramps begin? How long do they last? Do they go away or just continue until you stop? Does anything seem to make them better?

Its more of a tightening issue than a cramp so my back and legs feel tight until I stretch. Its not like a sudden muscle cramp which I have had issues with in the past.

It starts about a mile into my run, stretching helps and I will continue to do so just was wondering if anyone had similar issues and what they did to remedy it.
