Going to Do a oil change today. I want to know exactly how much oil to put? 5 and a half and check the levels? Or 5 and a quarter Bottle?

5.5L and check the level. I find that mine will take the full 6 and be right at the top marker.

It's an indication that a fault code has been tripped, usually with regard to the emissions control systems. It should ALWAYS turn on when the key is in the pre-crank position, as this shows that the light is functioning. If it comes on or stays on when the engine is running you will need to have your codes read.

Finally got a chance to check this. Mine stays on.. so I'll go with "it's normal". Final answer.

Mine is on pre-ignition and immediately turns off upon starting.
