Not in to much of a mood to explain but somebody walked off with a display pistol today at the shop. I was distracted by a cable repair man and it got stashed in his pants. Dumbass was caught because of the camera that was right above his head. If he looked up the monitor for the cameras was 2 feet above the pistols.

Took a few hours but they had him by the end of the day thanks to a customer who walked in and knew where the guys grand parents lived.

I'm not in trouble but it still bothers me that it happened on my watch.

GRRR.... nm the misspelled theft, I'm tired....

That's too bad. At least you weren't directly affected.

I know it's tough to do with when it happens. But trust me when I say that it won't happen again. You won't let it happen again. I used to be very careless and after one theft I'm very secure. For example, my car is my most valued possession. At my house, there is a great security system, motion detectors, cameras, and locked garage doors. Inside those doors is my e46, locked with tilt sensor, motion detector, etc armed as well as several other *classified* security features.

Point is that this will make you more alert but don't become fanatical like me. It's friggin annoying.

You keep display pistols out of the case in reach of customers?

doesn't it become armed robbery/burglary or something when a gun is taken?

Went to the gun show today and while I was visiting a booth, talking to the guy about some guns, his boss came around and said that their security cable was unplugged. I looked over and three guns were missing.
