Illuminated Shift Knob (///M 6spd USED)

For sale as pictured, includes integrated boot (obviously - it is integrated). This is OEM from my 2001 M3. There are bubbles and such but the leather is in good shape and it does illuminate. I gently bent (did not break) the plastic collar to remove it, and I expect it would re-mount without issue. The box is from the new one I purchased to replace it; the box is yours with the sale.

$35 shipped to lower 48, firm. Less than $35 and I just keep it as a backup/souvenir.

Yes, the frame is in good condition... picture 1 is probably the best answer to your question, though.

If it is the same shape as yours, it should fit with no issues.

Feel free to PM me for paypal info and I can get it on its way to you!

sounds good!, but just one last question, is the boot and knob removable from the frame? i have my own boot and knob and will be keeping those for a backup

I think it is just glued - so a razorblade would remove the frame from the existing boot, and glue would attach the frame to your boot. I will look at it for you this evening and post again to confirm.

It looks like it is glued on there pretty good. Probably won't be much fun to remove, but do-able so long as you are not trying to re-use the shift boot.

thanks for the help. and for the final question, will this fit a standard E46? (330i) it looks like the frame is the same shape as that of the standard e46 trim, but i just want to confirm before i buy

If everythings set then i will PM you so we can make a deal

thanks again

realoem.com/bmw indicates the piece in the console that the frame snaps into is the same part for my 2001 M3 as it is for 2001 330i. I can't make a gaurantee, but that is as close to a sure-thing as you will get without physically matching it up.

Looking forward to your PM.
