Running an auto on track?

I picked up an '02 325i auto just recently. Curious if any one has tracked their automatic with any luck. Did you use the 'stepmatic' function? Flush before/after? Any aftermarket coolers/temp gauges i should look into??

Not looking too make it the weekend warrior but have plenty of chances to put it on a race track and would like to take advantage of it.

I know I should get a stick... but i gots what I gots!

I have tracked my auto couple of times. No issues so far. Car drives fine. Just stick to the maintenance schedule and you will be ok. Also read up on Mangos posts which are very informative re maintaining our cars.
