BMW drivers, especially M3's are cocks.

Come one man. Everyone knows this.

Yes, that is the car I drive. I do not however see the point you're trying to make, so please explain.

if it was called an e92, then the badge would say e92, not m3. quit being a prick. who gets upset about an owner not knowing the car's platform?

so you drive an e90. is that a 325i, 325xi, 330i, or 330xi?

I love how this turned into a big flame war between e90 owners vs e46. In general doesn't everyone have one common interest and that's loving and obsessing over their BMWs

You think the e46 is awesome, the pinnacle of BMW engineering. We'll sorry it isn't. And the fact you think that all BMWs that were made after 2006 aren't for enthusiasts confirms to me you are a huge fan boy and anything you say is null and void.

People who afford a $800-$1200 car payment per month generally have more to focus their attention on than knowing a model code... You know, like a life.

I imagine that you probably weren't old enough to remember when E46's were new, but if you seriously think that a majority of the owners knew that it was called an E46, or that they were "enthusiasts" then you are off of your rocker.

The BMW community, both new models and older models, have plenty of enthusiasts across the board. We are most definitely NOT the majority of BMW owners. I'm just getting a kick out of your assumption that if one owns an 06+ BMW then one can't be an enthusiast.

Who cares?

People have been buying the m3 for its name/badge and its the most expensive 3 series since the m3 came out.

Nothing new here. Not everyone's an enthusiast. That's why I'll just say nice car.

What if someone says e30 is the pinnacle of engineering. Or Ferrari for that matter. That doesn't make their opinion null and void. It's their opinion. Do you feel like you are above everyone else and can nullify whatever you choose? A pretentious asshoIe like you deserves to be in the seat of a newer Bmw and you just reinforce my original post because you're obviously nobody to talk to for reasonable objective discussion.

Glad I stumbled upon this thread today

Why were you complementing him on his car anyway? It isn't unique or special enough to warrant a discussion.
