Looking for HELP

Hi, I have owned a 2001 330ci for the past 12 years. I am recently experiencing a number of problems and I am looking to see if other owners have had similar issues and how they remedied these issues. My major problem at this moment is water leaking into the trunk or boot. I replaced the rubber around the top and this didn't stop the leak. I've been reading that there is a drain hole in the convertible top storage area but cannot locate it. Also, my trunk indicator light was showing that the trunk was open even though it wasn't. We repaired the wires in the trunk hood but now the trunk doesn't open from the key. I have to insert the key in the trunk in order for it to open. I been told that I need to replace the latch!!
