ECS is my favorite when it comes to browsing parts because of how well laid out the site is and how good the pictures are.

You agreed to buy it. Don't ***** about what you agreed to - that's my marriage you're talking about!
What I was *****ing about was their telling me it was an in stock part when they did not have it in house. When you tell me a part is in stock don't tell me that it is not right after you collect my hard earned money. You had a chance to have a long term customer, but when you bull **** me, you don't get another chance.

Agreed with OP. I actually use ECSTuning to check for part numbers, etc. as mentioned, and then source other vendors and whatnot for the best prices before ultimately making my purchase.

ECS is awesome. Yeah you could save couple of bucks if you hunt for the lowest price but ECS has every single part for our cars.

You will notice that they S.T.F.U. when you call them on something here that they know is true.

The guys from ECS. Every time they come on a thread, when someone calls them on something, they disappear.

I need to read whole thread again. I did not appreciate that they told you they had in stock but were not being truthful. That's not good manners on their part.

if you want to geek it up a bit, you could even pass Google a more precise query, like this:

site:ecstuning.com+E46+330Ci+cowl

You could even build yourself a nice little multi-vendor search engine using a concatenate function in Excel and this ^ search method.

Very slick, if you want a photos to easily pop up you can always just select your vehicle on the site then search say cowl that way (LINK to example)

I should've titled the thread something else like "advanced" search techniques. it got moved to vendor feedback even though it's not vendor feedback. lol
