325ci help?

I have xxr 521's staggered 18x8.5 front 18x10 rear
right now they're stretched both 225x40x18, I'm wondering what I can fit on that 10 inch rim with as little stretch as possible?
Should I just look for a rim trade somewhere and grab some slightly smaller?

Your question is a little confusing but I'll give it a go.

10 inch rear you can go with 265-275 tire I believe. 225 is way low.

You need to give us more information on your suspension setup. Are you running coilovers, stock, fenders cut/shaved/flared etc.

Wow, sorry for that... yeah the rear suspension as of right now is some lowering springs from previous owner. The 225 is WAY stretched. I opted for some BC br coils, i I've read a lot of good things about them on here. I found a really nice set of csl's yesterday actually as well and that solved my wheel dilemma so I won't be doing any more mods for a bit :'( but at least I solved my problem
