I made an AUX Install DIY Video Guide

I know there's guides out there, but there were a few minor details that I feel got left out that I struggled with a little bit while installing mine. So, I decided to film the whole process as I did it as a learning experience and to show every part of it.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Nice video. I installed my AUX cable in the row of buttons just above the ash tray. Looks stock and required very little drilling. I also was able to install a DICE Media Bridge system so I have my old iPhone 3 running as a iPod in the glove and the AUX connection is for my wifes Droid to hook up to.

I made an AUX Install DIY Video Guide

Nice video. I installed my AUX cable in the storage compartment below radio/temperature control panel. The face plate for the AUX cable is mounted to the back of the storage compartment. Very easy installation. I did have to drill into the back of the storage compartment but it was very easy to do (the compartment is easily removed). When not in use, i simply close the cover and you would never know it was there.

One more thing if you consider mounting the AUX cable in the storage compartment. My car came with the sunglass holder version of the storage compartment. If you have this style, the install will not work. I purchased the regular storage compartment (they are interchangeable) prior to installation. This cost me some extra $$ but i love how clean the installation was and my ipod and cable stay neatly stored in the compartment when not in use.

Will this DIY/Aux cable work on a 2002 (Build date 10/01) with H/K and Nav?
