Help with roll bars

Does anyone know how to put down the roll bars that come up behind the rear seat head rest? Came out when I had spun the car and went slightly over a small curb. BMW is making me take it into the shop to set down, was wondering if there is a way around this.

Thanks

I believe there is a clip or lever behind the plastic part of the headrest. You push the roll bar down while holding the release lever and the bar should set into place again.

Or use the search feature here

The procedure is real simple, takes about 10-15 seconds, do not take it to the dealer.

Youtube searches are quite easy as is the search function on this site. You need to get used to using those or risk getting flamed for not searching. After you get the hang of the search functions you will use them often.

Yeah I know but I've been busy, and thought it would be quicker for him to post the link.

Very busy is one thing, but it probably took you longer to type that reply than to actually search....AND...reset your ROP.

This video should help you out, you should have the tool in your tool kit which releases the roll over protection.
