For my bikes I have always found factory manuals for DL on forums.
Or you can buy it online or at the dealer. They usually have a part # for them and anyone can buy.

Take a minute and register on a ducati or monster forum. Someone usually stickies a user manual as a pdf.

What track? what club? We usually ride with Absolute Cycle. They run a good track day.

Lightning is fast. Thunderbolt is a little more fun. Good luck. You'll Learn a lot. Start drinking lots of water a few days before. Dehydration will ruin your day.

Exactly what my instructor told me over the phone a few hours ago. Signing up with Absolute Cycle and I'm not sure which track to ride on, but excited nevertheless!

Currently on their website: Looks like I'll be partaking on the Lightning track! Signed up for the two day event... time to start sipping water hehe

Good choice with Absolute. Roy runs a good track day. grab control rider after you lose the red shirt to follow you around and they will help you tremendously. You will get a lot faster without even trying. The carousel is fun at Lightning.

Have fun. Post pics.

Just a couple of shots proving that Marquez might be not of this world, that is all.

And people thought we'd miss that one guy that retired. What's his name. Can't even remember. Hahaha

Nice - I've always thought of that as a cross between the CBR and the Hawk GT (Bros over there). When my wrists are tired on the 600RR, I think "I should have bought a Hornet."

Not a "Sportbike" But it can play one on TV... LOL

Probably the only motor toy I'll ever own that makes the E46 look easy to maintain...

Cheers!
Dave

Ok, so I kind of fell in love with this bike:

It's a Husqvarna Nuda 900R... Looks like a fun bike to toss around.

TAKE ME WITH YOU. I promise to behave.

Steroid injections from Tuesday :-( not much of anything planned for the rest of my life

Internet Find: Dude has a fully built turbocharged 2003 GSX-R 1000.

A bit about the bike from the owner:

Quote:
Fully built low compression motor by Cooper Performance. JE Pistons, Carillo rods, Carpenter valve springs, APE adjustable cam gears, APE manual chain tensioner. Cometic head gasket, ARP head studs. High volume oil gear and pressure relief valve, balancer shaft delete. Brocks clutch cushion kit and clutch springs with all new OEM steels and clutches.

Velocity Stage 1 turbo kit with HKS blowoff valve, Walboro inline pump, BEGI FMU, modified fuel pickup. Downpipe custom mated to 2005 model GSX-R 1000 Racefit Growler exhaust. Aquamist 2D water/methanol injection with DDS2 digital display, Autometer boost and fuel pressure gauges.

PVM Magnesium wheels with oversized 320MM ABM Spiegler front rotors, Vesrah SRLJH pads, PVM Rear floating rotor and billet caliper/mount. Dan Kyle caliper spacers. EDIT: DID Superbike X-ring chain with Renthal front and rear sprockets. Stock tooth count. EDIT: also swapped to a full radial master cylinder off of a 2005 GSX-R 1000

Ohlins rear shock and front fork springs/valving. Alarm system with paging capability.

Custom real carbon fiber intake ducts, Puig windscreen, Hotbodies undertail, Pazzo brake levers, OSF rear sets.

6lbs of boost on the dyno=229HP to the rear wheel. Runs around at 7-9lbs under load. low compression motor leaves tons of room to crank it up.
