Does anyone know or can get a hold of Dan "e46ornothing"?

I've been trying to call & text Dan for a while now. Long story short. I sent him $160 for a set of H&R Race Springs. He sent them via USPS & I ended up with only 2 springs in the box. 1 front & 1 rear, so they're pretty much useless. He said he filed a claim with USPS & would refund me. I told him I'd ship him back the 2 springs, but I haven't heard from him since June 14th. Seemed like a cool, straight up guy. I guess you never know.

I'm guessing his USPS claim will say "Help me. I'm an idiot. I forgot to pack the other half of the shipment."

What a turd.

File a dispute with Paypal, if you used that. Paypal generally sides with the person who sends a payment from what horror stories I have read over the years.

I don't know what he could file a claim about if there were only 2 springs in the box? It's not like USPS would open the box take 2 springs out and seal it back up...

If he's not responding to texts, calls, or messages, it seems like he ripped you off for whatever reason.... Or he's dead.

What do you mean "[you] don't know what he could file a claim about."?

He did not get what he paid for, and now the seller is completely avoiding him (apparently.)

That is a claim.

I think you missed his point Lust. He's talking about the seller's claim to the post office.

Reading comprehension not a strong suit of yours I'm guessing? The seller (Dan aka e46ornothing) said HE filed a claim with USPS about the missing springs. To which I half jokingly said "I don't know what he (Dan aka e45ornothing) could file a claim about"? It's obv that the seller ripped off the buyer. So for him to say he filed a claim was just to ease the buyers mind.

Apparently....

PayPal will deny the claim since it's over the deadline to file. Also since the package was delivered They'll make you go through USPS for the missing items. Hopefully you used a credit card OP.

Yeah pretty foul ****. He sounded hella cool & stuff over the phone & from all his posts. So I paypal'd him without even thinking of the worst. He didnt even get any insurance on it either... If I ever sell anything to any member & something went wrong during shipping I would totally refund the buyer & take it up with the shipping company myself. I mean look, all I did was open the package. I wasn't the one who packed & shipped it. Pretty ****ed up!

If he didn't purchase insurance, filing a claim only allows you to be credited for the cost of shipment. The most you'd ever see is that. I hate to tell you this, but if you knew he didn't purchase insurance that was a sign the claim was BS.

I've gotten hosed on here for a set of wheels that got lost in shipping via greyhound. I went to greyhound and filed a claim with the price of everything and they mailed me a check for $100. I was like There were 4 separate wheels in 4 different packages, you at least have to offer me $100 each package, and they told me that since all of them were on the same receipt they count it as 1 package, total hosing all the way around. $100 was not worth the 4 hours I spent in the bus station trying to get someone to talk to me, and fill out a dam report. You get hosed with shipping, and you get hosed by the sellers.
