Cheapest place to buy control arms

So it's time for me to change my control arms and I was wondering where everyone was buying them from. I priced the complete setup (control arm, cab, and inner ball joint) for both sides on turner motor sports and they were selling them for $660.

Let me know what you guys think.

^ Nope. Do not buy these.

Those are RWD control arms, Xi arms are very different different.

Cheapest place I've found is FCPGroton for ~$650 shipped for the entire kit of Lemfoerder arms, inner ball joint, and bushings.

The top item in that link is front control arms, and I did realize that he has an Xi which is why I told him to search his car first.

On their website for an Xi

Lemfoerder OEM
Control Arm; Front Left Lower
Control arm assembly includes integral outer ball joint but does not include bolt-on center ball joint nor rear bushing/bracket assembly, see 31126756695 to order separately. 1 per car. List $272.83

$216.50
SALE

Just an FYI, i chose a 2004 330xi as a car for this. looks like you can get away with these for roughly $500 with bushing is still a decent deal

you can find them for under $200 (each) in other places. http://http://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-control-arm-kit-2-piece-325xi-330xi-e46-e46arms-xi
Get powerflex bushings, the rubber ones suck.

The link you posted said Meyle HD arms which are RWD exclusive, just wanted to make sure OP didn't end up with stuff he couldn't use.

$500 with bushing is a good deal but doesn't include the inner ball joint at ~$100 a side. If they've never been done before, you probably should at this point.

which is why i told him to search for his car lol... i was just trying to show him autohausaz.com... so far they've impressed me with their prices, considering for me it will be $330 out the door with everything i need

can't complain about that, but now that i read up a little on xi's and your posts, seems like control arm costs are a bit more stubborn than RWD versions

No those are Chinese parts.

The only acceptable control arms and inner ball joints are made by Lemfoerder.

Only buy these if you enjoy swapping control arms every three months.

BMAParts.Com are $175 or so for lemforder. You also need to get the second ball joints as well. You should replace it all when your down there. You don't want any of that HAMBURG TECHNIC that you are getting on eBay. That Chinese stuff will fail almost ASAP.
