E36 M3 - 3K Original Miles

Lack of sanity on the price, but I doubt there's another one like it outside of a BMW museum.

Re: E36 M3 - 3K Original Miles

it's expensive but someone will buy it for close to his asking price. Fully loaded m3 was $46k in 1999 so he's slightly over sticker on a very desirable, almost brand new, car that you won't find anywhere else.

If I recall correctly that car has been for sale for quite a while.

If the seller waits a while longer, the car will actually start to appreciate in value. E30 M3s are already at that point. A relatively low mileage (under 100k) e30 M3 is going for close to half that right now. If he's in no hurry to sell, I'd list it for that price too. Just like people who perpetually list their home for sale at 100k over it's actual value. If someone wants to come along and offer that I'll move...

i have a friend with an 05 e46 m3 vert with about 8,000 miles on it... i have a feeling its not worth nearly as much as he thinks it is now. sometimes no miles is as bad as high miles. there comes a point where one should just enjoy a car on occasion instead of trying to preserve the value.

Muscle cars go for twice that when they cost less than 2 grand in the 60's and no one says a word. Guy asks for 4k over msrp on a future classic in brand new condition and people go about losing their skulls.

Wont sell fast but will sell.

It's been for sale for a year an a half now. I remember coming across it a long long time ago. Very very clean. A Fanatic should buy it! lol.
