I really like the color of your car! Avus Blue?

Also, it's nice to see someone else who isn't afraid to go low. Your car sits about the same as mine and I'm on FK Highsports which ride like butter. Keep the pics coming!

Look for bmw 2002 or 320i for strut mounts, they dont fit on the hole i had to open the hole on the car also on the plate. Sorry for the delay. Check the pic!!! No interferance with the hood!!!!!!!! Almost 1 1/2 inches drop just that . Click image for larger version

Thats lemans blue!!!!! I have ground control coil overs!!!! I 380 front and 480 rear and the ride is great. Also i adapted my shocks to use custom inserts on front. I reused to pay almost 300 bucks for each shrut when you can find a 40 bucks insert with the same valving. Cheers!!!

This sounds like a nice bit of info. What $40 insert are you using?

Would it be possible to take material off the strut mount instead of the car?

Did the kit come with top hats? Also how to the perches stay in place, do they use the tension the the tightened perch makes? 380/480 spring rates seem stiff to me.

such a bad idea to use RWD components with your XI.

especially when you're having to cut springs and mix parts and whatnot.

it's not too difficult to buy an XI variant coilover kit and be equally as low lol.

I have GC Coil overs made specifically for AWD E46. Front struts are shorter compared to non AWD E46. Rear struts are very similar, although my rears were E46 struts...
