The title is misleading. I read about it a couple days on Bloomberg. You're still allowed in their stores. They won't ask you to leave. They just ask you don't use their store as a place to hold a pro-gun rally.

You can put your pitchfork down... or in this case your gun

My Ride: What else?
Apparently Chipotle has implemented a similar ban, thanks to these a$$holes

Quote:
Chipotle is asking customers not to bring firearms into its stores after it says gun rights advocates brought military-style assault rifles into one of its restaurants in Texas.

The Denver-based company notes that it has traditionally complied with local laws regarding open and concealed firearms.

But in a statement Monday, the company said that "the display of firearms in our restaurants has now created an environment that is potentially intimidating or uncomfortable for many of our customers."

The announcement came after a petition by Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, which has called on other companies to ban firearms in their stores as well. The group said its petition was in reaction to open-carry gun activists appearing at a Dallas-area Chipotle restaurant over the weekend.

Erika Soto Lamb, a spokeswoman for the group, said she thought the move by Chipotle was a "bold statement," especially considering its previous stance of complying with local laws.

Many states allow people to carry licensed guns in some way, but some businesses exercise their right to ban firearms.

A Chipotle spokesman didn't immediately respond when asked if the company's request was an outright ban, or how it would respond if people continued to bring firearms into its restaurants.

Last year, Starbucks Corp. also told customers that guns were no longer welcome in its cafes after it had to temporarily close a store in Newtown, Connecticut, to avoid a demonstration by gun rights advocates. The company said it shut down the store out of respect for the community, where 20 school children and six educators had been slain.

The Seattle-based coffee chain stopped short of a ban, however, saying it didn't want to put its workers in the position of having to ask people carrying guns to leave its stores. Its carefully worded decision also underscored how major companies need to walk a fine line on highly divisive political issues.

Likewise, Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc. noted in its statement that "there are strong arguments on both sides of this issue." It said it hoped that customers who oppose carrying guns in public agree that "it is the role of elected officials and the legislative process to set policy in this area."

They should have arrested him for the slaughter of many burritos. He has a legitimate reason for carrying a rifle rather than a hand gun though. Cover is not something he can find.

Guerilla activism always fails.
I used to be against open carry for tactical reasons, but now I'm turning against it because oxygen-thieving douchecanoes take it to the extreme and ruin it for everyone else. What's worse is that people are lashing out at Chipotle, and it's not even like they're saying they ban guns. They just don't want people roaming around carrying rifles. Chipotle, just like Starbucks, is in the business of selling shit, not holding political rallies.

I don't go to Starbucks because I prefer Caribou Coffee, but I don't fault Starbucks for getting all pissy about the last incident. I'm certainly not going to pass up a Starbucks if I need coffee and it's all that's available. The same with Chipotle: I prefer Qdoba (queso!), but I'll still eat Chipotle.

You deserve a caramel latte just for coming up with "douchecanoes."

Those are some mall ninja-looking motherfuckers...I'm inclined to say they're the Pro Gun one

Wait wait wait wait wait.... I just noticed me something here: Jabba the Hut in the boonie cap is running every single component available from Magpul, right down to the AFG, MS3 sling and MBUS. MBUS folded down, WITH NO OPTIC. Yes, the Fail is Strong with this one...

I think it's a M&P15 MOE Magpul with an AFG in place of the VFG.

He should look into getting some big boy pants so he doesn't get a flash hider imprint branded on those pearly white stumps holding him up. I believe he may be dangerously close to exceeding the maximum weight limit for those stumps, i'm no expert though.

I'm having difficulty wrapping my head around how large that T-shirt is.
